What a bid buys — and what it doesn't
- A labeled placement on the homepage sidebar and this page — always marked as paid.
- A rank that holds until someone strictly outbids it — no expiry, no monthly rent, it just slides down when outbid.
- It never moves community rankings, weekly launches, or badges — those are votes only.
- It is not traffic, clicks, or an endorsement — just visibility at a moment in time.
- Bids are non-refundable — the one exception is a listing we take down for fraud or rule-breaking (see terms).
